Mindfulness is the act of being completely in the present. It’s when you acknowledge your every thought without being judgmental, every action and your surroundings moment by moment. The non-judgmental part seems confusing to most people because what does that even mean?
It means that we acknowledge our thoughts as they pass through our minds without labelling them right or wrong. We just need to be mindful of what’s actually happening inside our thoughts so that we can always be aware of the root cause of our issues. Mindfulness also means not dwelling on the past or the future and just being fully present in the moment.
